Ripple announced a $200 million credit facility from Neuberger Specialty Finance, the asset-based lending arm of Neuberger Berman, which manages $570 billion in assets. The funds are earmarked exclusively for margin financing within Ripple Prime, its institutional brokerage unit.

Instant Financing and Larger Margin Lines for High-Volume Investors

The new credit infrastructure enables high-volume investors to access larger margin lines and receive instant financing. "With this facility, we’re increasing our margin capacity, moving more nimbly, and improving capital efficiency for our clients," said Noel Kimmel, President of Ripple Prime. The structure provides Ripple with the flexibility to support clients without relying solely on company capital during periods of heightened market activity.

Post-Hidden Road Acquisition: Client Base and Revenue Nearly Tripled

Ripple Prime was launched after Ripple acquired Hidden Road for $1.25 billion in 2025. Hidden Road was a well-known professional brokerage platform operating across both traditional and digital markets. Following the acquisition, Ripple Prime added margin finance, clearing, trade support, and risk management. Ripple reported that client numbers and annual revenue nearly tripled year-over-year, driven by rising demand for institutional-grade infrastructure.

Competitive Landscape Intensifies

State Street and Standard Chartered have also recently introduced crypto-focused brokerage solutions. Ripple's credit deal provides both capital flexibility and speed to meet surging institutional demand, positioning it strongly against competitors.

$40 Billion Valuation and Continued Expansion

Ripple recently raised an additional $500 million, reaching a valuation of $40 billion. It also acquired treasury management software provider GTreasury for $1 billion. These moves signal Ripple's evolution from a payments platform into a full-service institutional provider offering financing, brokerage, custody, and tokenization.
