According to Techub News, citing bitcoinist.com, Ripple has introduced the XRPL AI Starter Kit for developers working with payment functions in the XRPL ecosystem. The kit is designed to help software agents make payments with XRP and Ripple USD, bringing payment capabilities into AI-related systems and developer workflows.
The XRPL AI Starter Kit supports the x402 payment standard and includes the XRPL Docs MCP Server. With this component, AI systems including Claude and Cursor can connect to XRPL documentation, giving developers a more direct way to access XRPL-related documentation and development materials while building applications.
The release is described as the first-stage initiative in Ripple’s push toward agent payments. Its stated focus is to provide settlement infrastructure for machine-to-machine transactions. The tool kit is already available for developers, with later tracking centered on documentation updates, code examples, and testnet adoption.
