Robinhood Chain brought in more than $70 million worth of ETH during its first week online. Data from DefiLlama shows total value locked on the network reached 46,748 ETH, or about $83 million at market prices. On Thursday alone, deposits totaled 31,855 ETH, equal to roughly $55 million.
The network is built on Arbitrum and is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. ETH is used as the native fee token. Robinhood has described the chain as friendly to artificial intelligence use cases while also focusing on tokenization of real-world assets.
Early usage metrics point to fast activity growth
According to Token Terminal, daily active users on Robinhood Chain climbed to 194,000 in the opening week. Daily revenue reached $39,000, which annualizes to about $14 million. Analysts at the firm said that if the current pace of adoption holds, the chain could become an important new source of ETH demand, noting that liquidity has been converted into on-chain economic activity at a rapid pace.
Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said most activity on Robinhood Chain is denominated in ETH. He described ETH as the main asset in trading pairs, the highest-volume asset on the network, and the settlement currency for block space fees. He also said ETH is burned on Ethereum mainnet as part of the chain’s data storage costs.
Tokenized stock offering adds to Ethereum’s RWA position
Robinhood is offering tokenized stocks to clients in more than 120 countries. Interest in putting US stocks on-chain is strengthening the position of Ethereum and its Layer 2 networks in the real-world asset sector. Data from RWA.xyz indicates that more than half of the market share in real-world asset tokenization sits within the Ethereum ecosystem.
Andri Fauzan Adziima, head of research at Bitrue Research Institute, said early trading volumes support the view that Layer 2 networks are entering a growth cycle that creates fresh demand for ETH. Tim Sun, senior researcher at HashKey Group, said Robinhood Chain’s use of ETH for gas fees is structurally positive for Ethereum. ETH rose as high as $1,775 on Friday, though it remained 64% below its record high set in August 2025.
