Roundhill has launched the Roundhill S&P 500 Target 10,000 2030 ETF, trading under the ticker XX, according to a post on X by Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. The fund is designed to give investors long-term leveraged exposure to the S&P 500 Index through the purchase of long-dated call options. Its target strike is tied to the S&P 500 reaching 10,000 in January 2030. The structure is also intended to avoid the volatility drag associated with daily reset products, a feature that sets it apart from traditional leveraged ETFs that rebalance every day. The launch was disclosed on the day the product began trading.
