Ethereum Layer 2 network Scroll said on Oct. 30, in a summary of its DAO monthly meeting, that it is preparing a broader network transition that would turn the current network into a permissioned one and migrate SCR and USX to the Ethereum mainnet. The project said a more detailed proposal will be submitted later and reviewed through its governance process.
To support the transition, Scroll said it is preparing tools and assistance to help users review their existing positions and move or withdraw assets safely during the network change. The update also covered Compass, Scroll’s AI application, which has already launched a paid subscription service on iOS. The Android version is still in development, and the team is also working on adding more fiat payment methods. In parallel, Compass API support is being expanded to cover different AI models.
