Ethereum Layer 2 network Scroll has shared more details from its DAO monthly meeting, outlining a transition plan that would change the current network into a permissioned network and move SCR and USX to the Ethereum mainnet. The team said a detailed proposal will be submitted later and reviewed through its governance process.
As part of the transition, Scroll said it is preparing tools and support to help users review their existing positions and safely transfer or withdraw assets during the network change. The update points to a structured migration process rather than an immediate switch, with governance review still pending.
Scroll also disclosed product updates tied to Compass, its in-house AI application. Compass has launched a paid subscription service on iOS, while an Android version and additional fiat payment methods are still under development. The Compass API is also being expanded to support different AI models.
