Securitize, the world leader in tokenizing real-world assets, announced on April 10, 2026 its integration with the TRON blockchain, one of the largest and most active digital asset networks globally. The integration allows tokenized funds and securities issued by Securitize to be available on TRON, which boasts over 373 million accounts, $26 billion in total value locked (TVL), and an annual transfer volume exceeding $7.9 trillion.
Integration Details and First Product
According to the official press release, the integration will support the launch of a new real-world asset (RWA) product expected to debut on TRON, with further details to be announced soon. Securitize works with leading global asset managers including Apollo, BlackRock, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR, and VanEck, and had over $4 billion in assets under management (AUM) as of November 2025. This indicates the caliber of institutional participation that may be reflected in future fund offerings on the TRON network.
Executive Perspectives
“Tokenization is about bringing real-world financial assets onto infrastructure that can support global scale and continuous market access,” said Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize. “TRON has built one of the most widely used blockchain networks for value transfer, and this integration positions tokenized securities to tap into that reach over time. While this is an early step, it reflects where the market is heading: toward broader distribution, deeper liquidity, and more accessible financial products onchain.”
Justin Sun, Founder of TRON, added: “TRON’s mission has always been to expand access to financial infrastructure while improving efficiency at a global scale. Our collaboration with Securitize, a leader in tokenization, continues the convergence of traditional finance and DeFi in a powerful new way. Together, we’re building the infrastructure for a global, onchain financial system.”
Industry Significance
The partnership underscores a broader shift toward bringing institutional-grade financial products onto high-performance public blockchains. TRON is known for its efficiency, low transaction costs, and dominance in stablecoin activity—at one point hosting over $86 billion in USDT circulation. This environment is ideal for regulated assets to evolve beyond traditional market constraints into dynamic, programmable financial ecosystems.
Securitize operates regulated digital-securities infrastructure across both the U.S. and EU, making it the only company licensed on both sides of the Atlantic. The company is also pursuing a public listing via a business combination with Cantor Equity Partners II (Nasdaq: CEPT), expected to close in the first half of 2026 under the ticker “SECZ”. This TRON integration is a key part of Securitize’s multichain strategy, with potential expansions to other blockchains in the future.
As the RWA tokenization market matures, TRON’s massive user base and active DeFi ecosystem could provide unprecedented liquidity and accessibility. The integration may open new doors for global investors seeking regulated, onchain investment opportunities, further bridging traditional finance with the crypto world.
