Odaily reported that “white-haired stock god” Serenity has again commented on Sivers Semiconductors, known by the ticker SIVE. In the post, Serenity said the market’s understanding of SIVE still contains a mismatch. According to his view, SIVE should not be seen only as a company serving CPO, or co-packaged optics, expansion.
Serenity described SIVE as a core laser supplier within the next generation of optical interconnect architecture. The areas he listed include Pluggable systems, Scale-out CPO, Scale-up CPO, NPO and other next-generation optical communication architectures. In his wording, SIVE may be becoming a “laser bottleneck node” in this architecture, meaning its role is tied to more than one single CPO path.
He also said that as new optical communication architectures begin to be implemented from 2027, the market may be underestimating SIVE’s position in the future AI data center optical interconnect supply chain. The latest remarks continue Serenity’s reassessment of SIVE’s place in the next-generation optical interconnect stack for AI data centers.
