Sharplink has raised its Ethereum treasury to 867,798 ETH, a position the company valued at about $1.72 billion. It said nearly all of that Ethereum is now staked, creating a steady stream of rewards for shareholders.
The update comes even with ETH trading 60% below last year’s peak. Sharplink said institutional ownership has climbed to 46%, a figure it presented as evidence of continued confidence from larger investors. Chief Executive Officer Joseph Chalom said careful planning and professional risk management remain central to attracting new capital.
About 60 new institutions entered in the fourth quarter
During the fourth quarter, Sharplink added roughly 60 new institutional investors. The company said that growth strengthens its standing as an Ethereum-focused digital asset treasury firm. Chalom said Sharplink continues to increase ETH concentration per share even during volatile market periods, and argued that institutions trust the company to keep building long-term value for stockholders regardless of moves in the underlying asset.
Sharplink also tied that investor appeal to its staking model. Since inception, the company said it has been able to stake nearly all of its ETH holdings, making yield generation a core part of its treasury strategy rather than a secondary feature.
Treasury mix includes native ETH, LsETH, and WeETH exposure
According to the breakdown provided, the treasury consists of 587,232 native ETH, 225,429 ETH as-if redeemed from LsETH, and 55,137 ETH as-if redeemed from WeETH. Since June 2025, Sharplink said it has generated 13,615 ETH in staking rewards, with those rewards fully accruing to shareholders.
The structure combines direct ETH exposure with liquid staking-related assets. In the company’s framing, that reflects a measured approach to balancing yield and risk while keeping the bulk of the treasury productive on-chain.
Brand refresh and research hire support investor communications
Sharplink also used the update to highlight a recent brand refresh. Its redesigned website now includes an investor relations page, a treasury dashboard, and material focused on Ethereum opportunities. Chief Marketing Officer Mandy Campbell said the company remains focused on transparency, measurable results, and advocacy for Ethereum, and that the new brand presentation is aligned with both institutional and retail audiences.
Separately, Sharplink appointed former Forbes Senior Editor Steven Ehrlich as Head of Research and Communications. The company said the role is meant to strengthen engagement with retail and institutional investors while broadening communication around Ethereum’s long-term potential.
