Deflationary Activity Accelerates for SHIB

Shiba Inu recorded a sharp rise in token burns over the past 24 hours, with its burn rate climbing 276,545%. More than 116 million SHIB were removed from circulation during the period, reinforcing the project’s long-running deflationary strategy. According to the reported figures, the total amount of SHIB burned has now reached 410.7 trillion tokens.

The token’s circulating supply currently stands at about 584.5 trillion, while another 4.74 trillion SHIB is staked through xSHIB. Taken together, token burns and staking continue to shape the available supply in the market. Still, supply reduction alone does not guarantee a price breakout, as broader market conditions and on-chain activity remain important factors.

Price Consolidates Above Near-Term Support

On the price side, SHIB is trading around $0.00001278 after rebounding from a recent low of $0.00001210. The token is currently moving within a tight range and appears to be building a support base above $0.000012, a level that traders may view as important for short-term structure.

The next major resistance is identified at $0.00001480. If SHIB manages to break through that level, Fibonacci retracement projections point to potential upside targets near $0.00002466 and $0.00002828. Until then, the token appears to be in a consolidation phase, with the market waiting for a clearer directional move.

Shib Alpha Layer Adds an Ecosystem Growth Angle

Beyond the burn data, the Shiba Inu development team has also introduced Shib Alpha Layer, a modular framework designed to support custom rollups on Shibarium. The new infrastructure is intended to improve scalability and make the ecosystem more attractive to new builders and projects.

If the rollout succeeds in drawing more developers and applications, it could strengthen network activity across the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem. That gives SHIB a narrative extending beyond meme-token trading, adding a fresh infrastructure and adoption angle. In the near term, burn metrics and resistance levels remain in focus, while the longer-term outlook may depend on whether Shibarium-related development translates into real usage.
