Shiba Inu (SHIB) remains stuck in a choppy trading range after a prolonged downtrend pushed the token to multimonth lows. Selling pressure appears to have cooled, yet the market still lacks the momentum needed for a convincing rebound, leaving price action tilted toward consolidation rather than recovery.
SHIB is still trading below key moving averages. Each attempt to move higher has run into resistance, while dip buying has stayed limited. That combination has produced a pattern of brief rallies and fast pullbacks, with no clear directional break.
Short-lived moves keep the market unstable
Without decisive momentum, SHIB has been fluctuating within relatively narrow ranges, at times moving through support or resistance only to lose follow-through soon after. Traders typically describe this kind of structure as a choppy market.
It is the sort of setup that can trap both bulls and bears. Price moves happen often, but they do not last long, and the lack of continuation keeps conviction low on both sides.
Oversold recovery is visible, but bullish strength is not
Oscillator readings suggest SHIB has shown some recovery from oversold conditions, which points to lighter selling pressure than before. Still, that has not translated into a meaningful bullish impulse.
Buying pressure remains weak, and trading volume has been inconsistent. Those two signals reinforce the idea that the current market is driven more by unstable swings than by a sustained shift in trend. Even when recovery attempts appear, they can fade quickly if buyers do not add support.
Traders are watching for accumulation
The next key signal for the market is whether SHIB starts to show signs of accumulation. A sequence of higher lows, backed by stronger volume on upward moves, would be one of the first indications that the token is moving toward stabilization.
Until that happens, SHIB is likely to remain volatile and difficult to read. Short-term traders may continue to find setups inside the unpredictable swings, but the market has not yet offered a solid confirmation that a broader recovery is underway.
