As the NFT market matures, projects need to offer more than just static collectibles. SIDUS, The City of NFT Heroes, is setting a new standard by combining NFT collectibles, a gaming metaverse, and yield farming into one cohesive ecosystem. Developed by NFT marketplace NFT STARS in partnership with the art collective NFT256, the project features 7,500 unique NFT avatars, each priced at only 0.055 ETH (under $170). Each hero comes from one of 12 blockchain-themed planets and serves as a ticket to the SIDUS world.
Layer 1: NFT Collectibles
The collection comprises 6,000 Original, 1,000 Rare, and 500 Legendary heroes. Original heroes are sold at a fixed price of 0.055 ETH, while Rare and Legendary heroes must be created using upgrade cards and the Galaxy Modificator. Upgrade cards appear randomly on the project's website and OpenSea every week. The Galaxy Modificator uses Chainlink's Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to assign upgraded traits fairly, ensuring transparency and security. This upgrade system empowers users to participate in the creative process, unlike traditional NFT projects that release all assets at once.
Layer 2: Gaming Metaverse
Every NFT hero can transform into a playable character in the SIDUS metaverse. The story unfolds in an intergalactic war era where 6,000 inhabitants flee their home planets to a deserted city called SIDUS. Over time, power struggles and resource shortages lead to conflicts. The NFT Hero Battle Arena offers fighting-game-style duels reminiscent of Mortal Kombat and Jump Force. Players can upgrade their heroes with weapons from the Galaxy Marketplace, such as lightsabers and sonic grenades, purchased using the NFTS token (the native token of NFT STARS). MILK2 token payments will also be integrated in the future.
Layer 3: NFT Yield Farming
The platform offers three tiers of Galaxy Staking: Original, Rare, and Legendary. By staking their NFT heroes, players earn NFTS tokens, which can be used to upgrade gear and improve battle performance. The NFTS token has inherent utility beyond in-game use—it powers the NFT STARS marketplace, boasting a large community of digital art collectors and artists. This dual-ecosystem adoption supports price stability and growth for NFTS.
Earning Opportunities
SIDUS moves beyond the traditional “buy low, sell high” model with multiple income streams:
- 50% of secondary market royalties are distributed to the community (holders must maintain at least $200 in NFTS or MILK2).
- Staking NFTs to earn NFTS rewards.
- Finding upgrade cards and selling upgraded heroes on the market.
- A wrapped NFT feature that allows users to deposit other cryptocurrencies or NFTs into their hero, aggregating liquidity and enabling simultaneous sales of multiple assets.
These mechanisms minimize dependency on market speculation, letting users actively generate value.
Community & Partners
NFT Heroes is brought to life by NFT STARS (a leading NFT marketplace known for celebrity drops) and NFT256, the world’s largest collective of modern artists with over 500 members who have worked with Disney, Sony, and Marvel. Over 10,000 combined hours were spent designing each hero trait. Technical infrastructure is supported by partners including Chainlink, Avalanche, and Polygon, ensuring smooth operations and robust security. The 12 blockchain planets—such as Bitcoione, Etheredus, and Solantrum—reflect major crypto networks and hide Easter eggs in their lore, reinforcing the project’s community-driven ethos.
SIDUS represents a new paradigm for NFTs—an entire ecosystem where collecting, gaming, and decentralized finance converge. At just 0.055 ETH, the barrier to entry is low, inviting a broad audience to play, stake, craft, and earn within the City of NFT Heroes.
