Solana has reclaimed its 100-day moving average after 205 days, marking a crucial shift in the token's short-term technical outlook. Yet the broader directional battle is playing out in the SOLETH trading pair, where support and resistance levels will determine the next major move.
SOLETH Pair: 0.032 ETH Support Is the Line in the Sand
On the weekly chart, Solana has held within the 0.032–0.040 ETH zone repeatedly since its 2025 peak. Crypto analyst TraderSZ views this range as a potential bottom. He stated: “SOLETH is signaling a bottom; if it can maintain this range, the likelihood of Solana overtaking Ethereum increases.” Cross-pair analysis suggests that when Solana strengthens against Ethereum, its dollar-denominated price tends to accelerate faster.
Still, a descending trendline continues to cap upside. TraderSZ warns that until Solana records a weekly close above this trendline, the trend reversal cannot be confirmed. Key upside levels to watch are 0.045 ETH and 0.058 ETH. Clearing these could open a path to stronger gains. If the 0.032 ETH support fails, Ethereum regains the upper hand; a clear breakout would quickly shift market sentiment in Solana’s favor.
First 100-Day MA Close in 205 Days Signals Shift
On the daily chart, Solana recently closed above its 100-day moving average for the first time in 205 days, per an analysis by CRG using Binance’s SOLUSDT perpetual contract data. After weeks of sideways trading between $80 and $100, the token finally broke above this key level. Having retraced from the $240–$250 zone months earlier, this close suggests buyers may be regaining control. CRG noted: “Crossing above the 100-day moving average can be a crucial trend change for Solana; sustained movement above it could further energize upward momentum.”
However, experts caution that a lasting trend requires Solana to hold above the 100-day MA. A reversal remains a distinct risk if it slips back. From a technical standpoint, $100 is now the main resistance. A decisive move above that level could accelerate a robust recovery in the coming weeks.
