Solana Mobile has started letting Seeker phone users and active dApp participants claim its native token, SKR, through a new airdrop. The company said more than 100,000 people are now eligible to take part in this distribution, tying the rollout to its push for user ownership inside the mobile ecosystem built around Solana.

The claim period is limited. Seeker users have 90 days to collect their allocation directly from the built-in wallet, and any tokens left unclaimed after that deadline will be sent back to the airdrop pool. Eligibility also extends to developers that launched high-quality apps in the dApp Store during its first season.

SKR Supply Set at 10 Billion With 30% Assigned at Launch

SKR is positioned as the core asset of the Solana Mobile ecosystem, covering functions tied to control, economics, and incentives. According to the release, total supply is fixed at 10 billion tokens, with 30% allocated to airdrops and unlocks at launch.

Solana Mobile is also encouraging recipients to stake their tokens. Under the announced schedule, early participants will see inflation events every 48 hours. The token follows a structured model that begins at 10% annual inflation, then falls by 25% each year until reaching a long-term rate of 2%.

Seeker Season 2 Expands Focus to DeFi, Gaming, Payments, and DePIN

The SKR rollout arrives alongside Seeker Season 2, a new campaign centered on rewards, early app access, and exposure to categories such as DeFi, gaming, payments, trading, and DePIN. The update adds another layer to Solana Mobile’s effort to deepen mobile blockchain usage through apps and incentives.

Seeker is an Android-based device built on lessons from Solana Mobile’s first phone, Saga. It comes with Seed Vault key storage and the Solana dApp Store preloaded. The company also said Seeker has logged more than 150,000 preorders, with shipments reaching over 50 countries.

Based on the details released so far, SKR is being used to connect early-user rewards, staking, and recurring inflation distributions in one system. Season 2 pushes that structure toward app discovery and mobile-first crypto activity, while the airdrop gives both users and developers a direct allocation inside the network.
