Crypto markets traded in a mixed pattern over the last 24 hours, with Solana (SOL) rising 0.5% to $81.21 while several large-cap assets moved lower. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, BNB, Hyperliquid (HYPE), and Dogecoin (DOGE) all posted losses, pointing to a cautious tone in the broader market even as selected altcoins attracted strong buying interest.
Large-cap tokens weaken while Solana stays in positive territory
BTC fell 0.2% to $63,298.73, with daily trading volume at $35.95 billion and market capitalization near $1.27 trillion. ETH also slipped 0.2% to $1,774.23, recording $16.13 billion in 24-hour volume and a market cap of $214.08 billion. BNB saw a steeper decline, dropping 0.9% to $579.67 on $754.18 million in daily volume, while its market capitalization stood at $78.11 billion.
XRP lost 1.5% and traded at $1.13, backed by $1.68 billion in volume and a $70.36 billion market cap. HYPE declined 1.9% to $70.36, with trading volume of $479.27 million and market capitalization of $15.65 billion. DOGE recorded the sharpest decline among the major tokens listed, sliding 3.0% to $0.07525. Its 24-hour trading volume reached $743.12 million and its market cap was $11.65 billion.
SOL stood apart from that group. The token logged $2.54 billion in daily volume and held a market capitalization of $47.25 billion. TRON (TRX) also remained slightly higher on the day, adding 0.1% to trade at $0.3297, with $456.38 million in trading volume and a market cap of $31.28 billion. The gains were modest, but they contrasted with the softer tone across much of the large-cap segment.
Vanar Chain leads smaller-token rally
Outside the biggest cryptocurrencies, a number of smaller tokens posted double-digit advances. Vanar Chain (VANRY) jumped 59.8%, making it the strongest performer in the list, alongside $113.94 million in trading volume. The Black Bull (ANSEM) climbed 33.9%, Yearn.finance (YFI) rose 33.4%, and EdgeX (EDGE) advanced 32.2%.
Blur (BLUR) gained 28.5%, followed by Tung Tung Tung Sahur (TRIPLET) at 28.0%. BabyBoomToken (BBT) added 26.5%, while Rootstock Infrastructure Framework (RIF) rounded out the top gainers with a 23.8% increase. The move suggests capital was not exiting the market uniformly; activity remained concentrated in select names.
High volume accompanies a selective market
The session showed a clear split. Several top digital assets finished lower, but losses in BTC and ETH were limited, and SOL managed to outperform the broader large-cap field. At the same time, a cluster of smaller altcoins delivered sharp gains. Trading remained active across the market, yet price action pointed to selective strength rather than a broad-based advance.
