Solana now has 285,971 wallets holding tokenized real-world assets, surpassing Ethereum’s 199,191. The 29.3% monthly growth was fueled by Backpack’s SpaceX stock tokenization, Ondo Finance’s 200+ ETFs, and Moody’s on-chain credit ratings.

As of June 18, Solana became the blockchain with the highest number of wallets holding tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) — 285,971 holders. That beats Ethereum’s 199,191, BNB Chain’s 101,902, and every other network. Solana alone accounts for roughly 31% of all 924,469 RWA holders across 35 blockchains.

The broader RWA market includes digitized versions of bonds, stocks, gold, and credit funds — not speculative meme coins but instruments that move billions daily in traditional finance.

29.3% Holder Growth in 30 Days

Solana’s RWA holder base expanded by 29.3% over the past month, a sharp acceleration compared to Ethereum (~8%) and BNB Chain (~5%).

At the start of 2026, Solana held around $800 million in RWA value. That figure now approaches $3 billion, marking a roughly 1,000% increase since early 2025, per Solana Foundation CPO Vibhu Norby.

Key Catalysts: SpaceX Stock, Ondo, Moody’s

  • Backpack’s SPCX (tokenized SpaceX stock) crossed $86 million in volume at launch.

  • Ondo Finance added 200+ tokenized stocks and ETFs via the Exodus wallet.

  • Moody’s embedded live credit ratings on tokenized bonds issued on Solana mainnet.

  • Securitize, Ondo, and Maple Finance enabled new issuers to access established secondary markets on-chain.

Each event drew new holders. Today’s Solana news reflects six months of infrastructure buildout finally visible in on-chain data.

Solana Captures 97% of On-Chain Equity Spot Volume in May

The Solana Foundation reported that the network captured 97% of cumulative on-chain tokenized equity spot trading volume in May, while tokenized stock holders exceeded 200,000. The June 18 data pushes that further.

The next milestone: whether Solana’s tokenized RWA value sustains $3 billion, and whether any major tokenized equity or bond issuance is announced in the coming weeks. Those will tell if June 2026 marks a turning point or a peak.
