According to SoSoValue data cited by ChainCatcher, crypto market sectors broadly moved higher, led by DeFi with a 3.34% 24-hour gain. Bitcoin broke above $65,000, Ethereum rose above $1,700, while the NFT sector fell 15.58%.

ChainCatcher reported that, according to SoSoValue data, crypto market sectors generally moved higher over the latest 24-hour period. The DeFi sector delivered one of the stronger performances, rising 3.34%. Within the sector, LAB (LAB) gained 17.39%, Genius (GENIUS) rose 8.29%, and Hyperliquid (HYPE) advanced 4.86%, placing them among the notable gainers in the DeFi group.

Bitcoin and Ethereum Move Above Key Price Levels

Among major crypto assets, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.53% and broke above $65,000. Ethereum (ETH) gained 1.95% and moved above $1,700. At the same time, MAG7.ssi was up 2.19%, DEFI.ssi rose 3.01%, and MEME.ssi increased 0.64%, showing positive movement across several tracked sector indicators.

Other segments also posted gains. The DePIN sector rose 2.64% over 24 hours, with Grass (GRASS) up 13.43%. The AI sector gained 2%, led in the cited data by Worldcoin (WLD), which rose 8.91%. The Layer1 sector advanced 1.95%, while Zcash (ZEC) climbed 10.65%. PayFi rose 1.76%, with Dash (DASH) up 5.89%.

NFT Sector Falls While Historical Sector Indices Rise

The Layer2 sector gained 1.64%, with Stacks (STX) up 4.56%. CeFi increased 0.52%, while Cronos (CRO) rose 3.66%. The Meme sector posted a smaller overall increase of 0.19%, although Banana For Scale (BANANA) recorded a 35.77% gain within the group.

In contrast to the broad upward movement across most categories, the NFT sector, which had previously seen a sharp rise, fell 15.58% in the latest data. Within that sector, Audiera (BEAT) declined 26.56%. SoSoValue’s crypto sector indices reflecting historical sector performance also moved higher, with ssiDeFi, ssiMAG7 and ssiLayer2 rising 2.71%, 2.38% and 2.01%, respectively.
