Data from SoSoValue shows that as of 8 a.m. ET on July 13, 2026, publicly listed companies worldwide excluding mining firms recorded a total net sale of $85.45 million worth of Bitcoin for the week. The figure was down 908.42% from the previous week. Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy, and Japan-listed Metaplanet did not buy Bitcoin during the period. Two other companies disclosed purchases: Brazil-based Bitcoin company OrangeBTC said on July 13 that it bought 8 BTC at $62,100, bringing its holdings to 3,912 BTC, while asset manager Strive said on the same day that it spent $1.15 million to buy 18 BTC at $64,028, lifting its total holdings to about 19,900 BTC. At press time, the companies tracked in the dataset held a combined 1,139,635 BTC, down 0.19% from a week earlier. Those holdings were valued at about $71.38 billion, equal to 5.7% of Bitcoin’s circulating market capitalization.
