Space and Time has introduced Dreamspace, an AI-powered builder aimed at letting users create on-chain applications without writing code. The product turns simple text prompts into working app structures and can also generate smart contract logic. Dreamspace is built with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI, and it runs on Base to support low-cost, fast on-chain transactions.
Prompt-based app creation targets non-technical builders
The platform is designed for creators, students, and businesses that want to build blockchain-based applications without taking the usual development route. Users describe what they want, and Dreamspace assembles the application structure from that input. Space and Time said each smart contract generated through the system is fully auditable, allowing users to inspect how the contract works before deploying it on-chain. That detail matters. For users outside traditional development teams, visibility into contract logic is a basic requirement, not a feature add-on.
The release also expands Space and Time’s product push into AI development tools. According to the company, Dreamspace is intended to produce functional applications rather than just mockups or interface concepts, including the smart contract layer needed for on-chain use.
Microsoft ties and verifiable data infrastructure sit underneath
Dreamspace is connected to Space and Time’s broader relationship with Microsoft. In 2022, M12, Microsoft’s venture fund, led a $20 million investment in the company. With Dreamspace now using Azure AI services, that relationship extends into the product stack itself.
On the infrastructure side, Space and Time provides the data layer behind Dreamspace. The company focuses on verifiable data infrastructure for blockchain applications that require trusted records. Nate Holiday, co-founder of Space and Time and creator of Dreamspace, said the company was built to make verifiable data accessible to any application at any scale. He also described Dreamspace as the point where that infrastructure meets the people building the next wave of the internet, adding that when the data layer handles itself, builders can focus on what they want to create.
Beta activity passed 34,000 apps
During beta testing, Dreamspace recorded more than 34,000 applications created by early users. The figure points to early demand for tools that cut technical barriers in app development. Space and Time also said the platform has entered education initiatives, including AI labs and curriculum projects in Indonesia, with plans to reach more than 140,000 students.
Dreamspace uses Base as its execution environment. Space and Time said the setup supports fees of less than one cent and near-instant settlement, a combination meant to reduce friction for users building and deploying real applications. The launch adds another example of AI tools moving deeper into blockchain infrastructure and Web3 development workflows.
