DePIN project SPACECOIN ($SPACE) came under pressure almost immediately after its market debut. While investors were watching its token generation event and exchange listings, on-chain activity on BNB Chain triggered fresh concern after a wallet suspected by the community to be tied to the team or an institutional party moved a large amount of tokens.

On-chain transfers spark market concern

According to posts shared by multiple crypto commentators on X, the wallet in question has transferred roughly 150 million $SPACE in total and still holds around 500 million tokens. What drew even more attention was the transfer pattern: rather than a single large move, the tokens were reportedly split into smaller batches and sent to multiple newly created addresses.

In crypto markets, this kind of distribution pattern is often interpreted as a possible sign of OTC preparation, liquidity management, or future market selling designed to avoid immediate price impact. That interpretation quickly fueled community speculation, with some users openly describing the activity as early-stage unloading. Still, no public evidence has conclusively proven that the transfers amount to malicious dumping.

No official clarification yet

The discussion spread further after being amplified by accounts such as Wu Blockchain and MMSnews. Even so, SPACECOIN had not issued a direct response or clarification regarding the wallet movements at the time of reporting. Its official social channels continued to highlight positive developments, including satellite deployment milestones, a strategic partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLFI), and token swap updates.

At the same time, some observers urged caution against jumping to conclusions. They noted that such transfers could also relate to internal allocation, liquidity provisioning, token unlock arrangements, or other legitimate operational reasons. Until more verifiable information emerges, the exact nature of the transfers remains unresolved.

Strong narrative, volatile first-day trading

SPACECOIN positions itself as a blockchain-based DePIN project focused on satellite internet infrastructure. Its stated goal is to use low Earth orbit nano-satellite constellations to provide permissionless and censorship-resistant global connectivity, especially for underserved regions with limited internet access.

That long-term narrative did little to shield the token from heavy volatility on day one. Public market data showed that after listing on platforms including Binance Alpha and OKX on January 23, 2026, $SPACE briefly climbed to $0.05 before dropping sharply to a low of $0.0166. At the time of the report, it was trading near $0.0195. With the project yet to address the disputed on-chain activity, market sentiment may remain fragile in the near term.
