Techub News, citing CryptoBriefing, reported that SpaceX will acquire Anysphere, the developer of the artificial intelligence programming tool Cursor, at a valuation of $60 billion. The transaction will be structured as an all-stock deal, according to the merger agreement signed on June 16.

Under the agreement, X67 Inc., a SpaceX subsidiary, will merge with Anysphere. Once the transaction is completed, Anysphere will become a wholly owned subsidiary of SpaceX. The arrangement sets out how Anysphere’s outstanding equity will be converted as part of the merger.

After closing, all outstanding shares of Anysphere will be converted into SpaceX Class A shares. The number of shares will be calculated based on the $60 billion valuation and SpaceX’s seven-day volume-weighted average share price before closing. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and other closing conditions.
