ChainCatcher reported, citing The Kobeissi Letter, that the SpaceX IPO has significantly boosted activity in on-chain tokenized stock trading. Data shows that cumulative transfer volume for on-chain tokenized stocks has surpassed $20 billion for the first time, marking a new milestone for this segment of blockchain-based equity trading.
Thirty-Day Volume Reaches a Record
The data also shows that trading volume over the past 30 days reached $4.3 billion, setting an all-time high. Year over year, the figure increased by more than 140%. The surge was reported alongside heightened trading activity linked to SpaceX-related tokenized stock exposure.
After the SpaceX tokenized stock, traded under the ticker $SPCX, went live on June 15, Solana’s single-day spot trading volume exceeded $100 million for the first time. At one point, Solana accounted for 99% of the total network share for the asset’s trading activity, while Jupiter became the platform with the largest trading volume for the instrument.
