ChainCatcher reported that capital markets commentary publication Kobeissi Letter posted on X that SpaceX is driving a surge in tokenized asset trading. According to the post, on-chain tokenized stock trading volume reached $4.3 billion over the past 30 days, setting a new monthly all-time high. The figure has increased by more than 140% year to date.
Kobeissi Letter said that after the SpaceX IPO on June 15, 24-hour spot trading volume for tokenized stocks on Solana exceeded $100 million for the first time. During the same period, Solana at one point accounted for 99% of the market share, making it the dominant on-chain venue for this category of trading activity.
At the platform level, Jupiter became the largest venue by trading volume for tokenized SpaceX. As these transactions accumulated, total on-chain tokenized stock trading volume also surpassed $20 billion for the first time. The data cited by Kobeissi Letter shows that SpaceX-related tokenized stock trading expanded sharply in a short period and coincided with new records for the broader on-chain tokenized stock market.
