Three employees at Elon Musk-backed AI company SpaceXAI are set to run a live event called "Grok Bot Galaxy" from Sept. 15 to 17, attempting to build a startup from scratch in 72 hours. During the stream, they will decide the company name, product, and business plan in real time, while relying on the firm’s AI agent product, Grok Bot, for ideation, planning, product development, and engineering deployment. The event will take place in San Francisco and stream globally each day from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. SpaceXAI was formed after SpaceX acquired xAI in an all-stock deal valued at $250 billion in February, and it later bought coding company Cursor for $60 billion in August. Musk has also recently acknowledged that Grok is not yet the preferred choice in this area, as reports have highlighted misuse of rival Anthropic’s Claude model in cyber operations and fraud.

SpaceXAI was formed after an xAI deal and later acquired Cursor

SpaceXAI was created after SpaceX acquired xAI in February this year through an all-stock transaction valued at $250 billion. In August, it also acquired coding company Cursor for $60 billion.

Musk recently acknowledged that Grok has not yet become the preferred choice in this area, against the backdrop of reports that rival Anthropic’s Claude model had been misused in cyber operations, fraud, and other fields.

Event will be held in San Francisco and streamed worldwide

The livestream will take place in San Francisco and will be broadcast globally. It is scheduled to run each day from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The event is intended to showcase Grok Bot’s capabilities, though outside attention is also focused on how much the three builders will guide and correct the AI agent’s decisions.
