StablecoinX, described as an ENA treasury company, said it has filed a Form 8-K disclosing a waiver letter signed with Ethena OpCo and the Ethena Foundation. Under that disclosure, all ENA held by StablecoinX will be permanently unlocked starting Oct. 5, 2026. The foundation also said other ENA holders will be unlocked on the same date. Even so, the tokens will continue to be held as treasury assets, and any sale will still require prior written consent from the foundation. Foresight News had previously reported that, at the end of June, StablecoinX disclosed holdings of about 3.029 billion ENA, equal to roughly 20% of ENA’s total supply.
