Strategy said it purchased 1,142 BTC between Feb. 2 and Feb. 8, 2026, spending a total of $90 million at an average price of $78,815 per bitcoin. After the latest purchase, the company’s total bitcoin holdings climbed to 714,644 BTC, extending its lead as the world’s largest corporate holder of the asset.

Total cost base rises to $54.535 billion

According to the company’s update, as of Feb. 8, 2026, Strategy had spent a cumulative $54.535 billion to acquire its bitcoin position. Its average purchase price across all holdings stood at $76,056 per BTC. The latest addition pushed the company’s treasury above 714,000 bitcoin, keeping its accumulation strategy intact.

The company said the latest purchase was funded mainly through proceeds from stock sales under its at-the-market, or ATM, program. It also noted that the reported bitcoin purchase prices included fees and other related costs. The structure remains the same: raise capital in public markets, then channel that capital into bitcoin.

Only MSTR common stock was sold during the week

Strategy also updated investors on its ATM issuance activity. During the same Feb. 2 to Feb. 8 period, the company said it sold only MSTR Class A common stock. Preferred stock series including STRF, STRC, STRK and STRD were not sold during the week, though available issuance capacity remained in place.

The source material also said that after the recent bitcoin pullback, Strategy’s bitcoin position moved from an unrealized gain to an unrealized loss of about $4.26 billion. Even so, the company’s latest filing showed no pause in accumulation, with fresh ATM proceeds again directed into BTC purchases.
