In a recent interview, Strategy CEO Phong Le addressed the market's attention regarding the company's sale of 32 bitcoins. He clarified that this move was not a bearish signal but rather a step to verify liquidity, test internal processes, and respond to creditors' and rating agencies' concerns about asset management transparency. Phong Le emphasized that Strategy's core strategy remains long-term value creation, and such minor adjustments do not affect the firm's firm conviction in Bitcoin.
Currently, Strategy holds approximately 845,000 bitcoins, making it one of the largest corporate holders globally. Phong Le revealed that the company's bear-market strategy is to "do nothing" — neither actively selling nor panic-trading, thereby riding out market cycles. He reiterated that Bitcoin's scarcity and decentralization as digital gold are the fundamental reasons for their long-term bullish outlook.
Looking ahead, Phong Le disclosed plans to deeply integrate AI into financial product innovation. He envisions that as the number of AI agents surges to 6 trillion, these autonomous agents will naturally choose Bitcoin as a store of value and medium of exchange, thereby elevating Bitcoin into the foundational asset of an interstellar economy. This vision transforms Strategy from a mere corporate holder into a builder of AI-powered financial infrastructure.
