Strive Inc. expanded its corporate Bitcoin treasury by purchasing 179 additional BTC, bringing total holdings to 13,311 Bitcoin. Valued at roughly $930 million at current market prices, the position now places Strive ahead of Tesla's 11,509 BTC, according to the company's Wednesday disclosure. The latest update, which includes several balance sheet changes, puts Strive among the top corporate Bitcoin holders globally, sitting just behind CleanSpark at the eleventh spot.

Overtakes Tesla in bitcoin holdings

The purchase pushed Strive's Bitcoin reserves past Tesla's 11,509 BTC, a milestone that shifts the corporate holding leaderboard. CleanSpark currently holds the position directly above Strive. The company also reported cash and cash equivalents of $143.4 million as of March 9, 2026.

Preferred dividend rate raised to 12.75%

In parallel, Strive adjusted terms for its SATA perpetual preferred shares. The dividend rate increased by 25 basis points to 12.75%, with a declared dividend of $1.0625 per SATA share. The record date is April 1, 2026, with payment scheduled for April 15. Management also narrowed the targeted SATA trading range to between $99 and $101, down from the previous $95–$105 band, and said it will not issue new SATA shares below $100.

$50 million purchase of STRC preferred stock

Strive deployed $50 million to acquire 500,000 shares of Strategy's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, ticker STRC. Chief Risk Officer Jeff Walton said the firm views STRC as a high-quality credit instrument. The acquisition expanded reserves supporting SATA dividend payments, extending the dividend reserve coverage to 18 months — 12 months in cash plus six months backed by STRC holdings. Combined reserves, per the company, cover more than 19 years of SATA interest payments.
