Strive, a digital-asset-focused finance firm, has quietly entered the ranks of the top 10 corporate Bitcoin holders after a series of strategic moves. The company secured nearly 5,900 Bitcoin through private placements and exchange transactions, then added 5,048 BTC via the acquisition of healthcare tech firm Semler Scientific. Additional equity and capital market maneuvers brought in another 2,694 Bitcoin, pushing its total reserves well past those of Tesla and CleanSpark.
Strive's Rapid Bitcoin Accumulation
CEO Matt Cole confirmed the latest Bitcoin count in the quarterly earnings report, calling the progress central to Strive's mission. The company posted a net loss of $393.6 million from listing through end-2025, but most came from non-cash items: unrealized losses of $194.5 million from Bitcoin price declines, $140.8 million in impairment linked to the Semler acquisition, and $12.4 million in transaction costs. Adjusted loss for common shareholders stood at $208.2 million, or $4.73 per diluted share after a reverse stock split.
Cole stated: "Out of the numerous successes Strive had in our first six months as a public company, the most important was cementing our foundation as a structured finance company laser-focused on digital credit." He emphasized that early results justify tying structured capital initiatives directly to digital asset exposure.
Financial Performance and Strategic Funding
Beyond the Semler deal, Strive added 2,694 BTC via diverse funding channels including private placements, stock transactions, and capital markets activity. The company's Bitcoin yield reached 22.2% in Q4 2025 and 13.8% through mid-March 2026, translating to 1,305 BTC added in Q4 2025 and another 1,050 so far in 2026.
SATA Perpetual Preferred Stock Strategy
Strive's SATA perpetual preferred stock, a variable-rate product designed for double-digit yields with reduced volatility, trades independently on Nasdaq. The IPO in November 2025 sold 2 million shares at $80 each, raising approximately $148 million; a January 2026 follow-on offering added $109 million at a higher price.
Through rapid capital deployment and M&A, Strive has transformed its balance sheet and emerged as a rising player in corporate Bitcoin investment.
