Strategic Lending Partnership Expansion
Nasdaq-listed SUI Group (ticker: SUIG) has announced an expansion of its strategic lending partnership with Bluefin, a decentralized exchange on the Sui blockchain. Under the revised digital currency loan agreement, SUI Group will provide an additional 4 million SUI to Bluefin, bringing the total loan amount from the original 2 million SUI to 6 million SUI. Concurrently, the revenue share ratio has been increased from 5% to 11%, payable in SUI tokens. These adjustments reflect heightened mutual confidence in the collaboration's prospects.
Purpose of Funds: Supporting Suilend Acquisition
The core objective of the additional loan is to furnish Bluefin with liquidity to participate in Bluewater's acquisition financing of Suilend, a lending and DeFi platform on the Sui blockchain. Suilend is a key lending protocol within the Sui ecosystem, and by taking part in this acquisition, Bluefin—a leading DEX—aims to further integrate on-chain liquidity and expand its DeFi product suite. SUI Group's continued capital injection indicates that institutional funds are accelerating into the Sui ecosystem, driving the enhancement of decentralized finance infrastructure.
