Sui’s stablecoin supply is currently about $478 million, down roughly 69% from its $1.6 billion peak in May 2025, and it has stayed near that level for several months. The update follows a protocol-level change introduced by Mysten Labs in May. Mysten Labs, the company responsible for Sui’s core development, cut stablecoin transfer fees to zero and removed the requirement for users to hold the network’s native SUI token when making transfers. The feature supports seven stablecoins: USDC, USDsui, SuiUSDe, AUSD, FDUSD, USDB, and USDY. Since June 10, the Sui network has processed more than $65 billion in zero-fee stablecoin transfers. Since the start of 2024, cumulative stablecoin trading volume on Sui has exceeded $2.27 trillion, with total transaction count reaching 16 billion, according to Bitcoin.com News. The figures highlight continued stablecoin activity on the network even as total supply remains well below its earlier peak.
