Tazapay has raised $36 million in a Series B extension round led by Circle Ventures, adding fresh capital to its push into global stablecoin payment infrastructure. Coinbase Ventures and CMT Digital joined as new investors, while existing backers continued their support as the company expands across regulated markets.

Funding set aside for licensing and regulated market access

The company said the new capital will be used to widen its licensing footprint in jurisdictions seen as important for global financial operations. Applications are already in progress in the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, and Hong Kong. Tazapay already holds licenses or registrations in Singapore, Canada, Australia, and the United States, giving it an existing base for compliant cross-border payment services.

Its earlier investors include Ripple, RTP Global, and Peak XV Partners. Their continued presence points to sustained institutional interest in firms building payment rails that can operate across multiple jurisdictions.

Expansion plans center on Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Americas

Tazapay plans to speed up its go-to-market efforts across Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Americas. The focus matches rising demand for digital payment tools in cross-border business activity, where companies are looking for faster settlement, lower friction, and clearer compliance pathways.

The company serves B2B businesses, fintech firms, marketplaces, and web3 entities in more than 70 markets. Its platform runs on digital-native settlement rails built for real-time transaction processing, with the aim of moving funds across borders more quickly and with greater reliability.

Stablecoin settlement demand keeps drawing capital into infrastructure builders

The financing comes as more businesses test stablecoins for cross-border transactions. Traditional banking channels can involve delays and higher costs. Digital settlement tools are being adopted to improve transaction speed and capital efficiency in global commerce.

Tazapay is also developing agentic payment systems designed for AI-driven transaction flows. These systems use flexible payment rails and automated rules to manage execution across regions and regulatory environments. For investors backing the sector, regulated infrastructure remains a core requirement before stablecoins can be integrated at scale into enterprise payment systems.
