Tencent Music is testing an AI music creation product called MusicBuddy, according to an exclusive report by Dujia cited by BlockBeats. The tool places conversational AI inside a multitrack composition workspace, letting users change lyrics, swap instruments, and adjust volume and reverb with natural-language prompts instead of manually working through complex production software. MusicBuddy also offers creation suggestions based on an artist’s existing catalog, fan preferences, and current trends, while allowing users to choose different generation models, vocal options, and reference music. Once a song is finished, it can move directly into the distribution process, and the system can also generate an MV and promotional posters. Tencent Music had previously launched the Qinyun and Qinle music large models, along with AI features for songwriting, vocals, and audio repair. MusicBuddy appears to bring those capabilities into a single workspace that covers creation, editing, and release. BlockBeats also noted that Suno Studio 2.0 is moving in a similar direction overseas, with support for multitrack editing, MIDI, and chat-based project changes.
