Tether Capital, the independent investment arm of Tether, said on Oct. 15 that it has made a strategic investment in AIsa, a platform built to let AI agents access and pay for data, software and compute services. AIsa says developers can use a single interface to connect AI models, datasets, APIs, software tools and computing resources, with settlement available in either fiat currency or stablecoins. The company said its platform is already running more than 250,000 agents and has processed more than 100 million transactions. It also said users can reach more than 5,000 APIs, skills and models with one key, with charges based on usage. For enterprises, the setup is meant to support on-demand purchasing of resources. For service providers, it offers a way to plug services into automated workflows. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said that as AI agents take on more tasks, users need ways to give those agents access to services while keeping spending under control. Tether said the deal continues its support for agent payment infrastructure. It previously invested in NEURA Robotics and plans to integrate WDK and QVAC into robotic systems.
