According to an official announcement cited by ChainCatcher, Tether has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, also known as DMCC. Under the arrangement, the two parties will explore cooperation across asset tokenization, digital asset education and broader blockchain applications.
The agreement sets out a framework for Tether to provide DMCC’s enterprise network with thematic seminars, customized blockchain consulting, digital asset pilot projects and tokenization programs. The cooperation will also include exploration of peer-to-peer digital communication and payment system applications within relevant business settings.
Tether and DMCC will further evaluate opportunities in blockchain infrastructure, digital payments, educational activities and hackathons. The memorandum of understanding therefore covers both education-focused initiatives and practical pilots related to digital assets, tokenization and payment systems.
