Colombian fintech Plenti has raised $3 million in seed funding led by Tether, with participation from Verda Ventures. The funds will support existing operations in Colombia and expansion into Peru and Bolivia. The app enables users to hold and transfer USD, EUR, and Colombian pesos, fund international brokerage accounts, and invest fractionally in US stocks, ETFs, digital gold, and crypto assets. Plenti has over 150,000 active users and processes over $3.1 billion in transactions annually.

Colombian fintech firm Plenti has closed a $3 million seed round led by Tether, with Verda Ventures also taking part.

Plenti said the money will back its current business in Colombia and help push into Peru and Bolivia.

The Plenti app lets users hold and move US dollars, euros, and Colombian pesos, fund international brokerage accounts, and buy fractional shares of US stocks, ETFs, digital gold, and crypto assets.
