According to the organizers, TOKEN2049 will take over all five exhibition levels at Marina Bay Sands. The venue plan includes the main agenda, business matchmaking, wellness and leisure areas, immersive on-site experiences, and dedicated hospitality programs.
More than 1,000 side events planned across the city
During TOKEN2049 Week, more than 1,000 side events will be held across Singapore, covering industry forums, hackathons, investor meetups, in-person community gatherings, and business networking receptions.
Other major events taking place in Singapore that same week include Digital Asset Summit Asia, Sui Basecamp, Network State Conference, the Milken Institute Asia Summit, and the Forbes Global CEO Conference. The week also coincides with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
Organizer shifts this year’s focus to Singapore
TOKEN2049 co-founder Alex Fiskum said, 「The Dubai edition has been moved to 2027, so this year we are directing all of our resources and focus to Singapore. Demand has been very strong, and more than 70% of booth space has already been reserved. In the coming weeks, we will introduce new agenda tracks and event formats to expand the dedicated institutional program. We are looking forward to bringing the industry together in Singapore this October for TOKEN2049.」
Origins hackathon and NEXUS competition draw thousands of applicants
The 2026 event will host the second TOKEN2049 Origins, a 36-hour hackathon, and will also bring back the NEXUS startup competition. Organizers said applications for both contests have already exceeded last year’s level, with total registrations reaching into the thousands.
Judges for this year’s finals come from venture capital firms including Dragonfly, Multicoin, and Maelstrom.
Tickets and booth inventory still available in limited numbers
Early-bird Happy Bird tickets are currently on sale for TOKEN2049 Singapore. Organizers said tickets are expected to sell out before the event opens, while a limited number of exhibition booths and brand partnership slots are still available.
