Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE American: BMNR) launched MAVAN (Made in America Validator Network) on Wednesday, instantly becoming the world's largest Ethereum staking platform with 3,142,643 ETH staked at launch, valued at roughly $6.8 billion (based on $2,148 per ETH as of March 24).

Revenue Engine from Staking Rewards

Bitmine added 101,776 ETH (~$219 million) to MAVAN in the week before launch and plans to migrate nearly all remaining unstaked ETH to the platform in the coming weeks. At a recent seven-day yield of 2.83%, Bitmine projects MAVAN will generate close to $300 million in annualized staking rewards — transforming its ETH holdings into a recurring-revenue infrastructure business.

U.S.-Based Validator Infrastructure Open to Institutions

MAVAN runs on U.S.-based validator nodes for institutions requiring domestic infrastructure paired with a globally distributed architecture for resilience. Custodians, exchanges, and ecosystem partners can stake ETH directly on MAVAN or white-label the service. Bitmine filed a corresponding 8-K with the SEC on March 25 under Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

"Alchemy of 5%" Strategy and Tom Lee's Vision

MAVAN marks the fourth major pillar of Bitmine's strategy to accumulate about 5% of total ETH supply — a framework called "the alchemy of 5%." Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine and Head of Research at Fundstrat, called MAVAN a critical step toward building one of the leading staking and on-chain infrastructure platforms. He noted plans to expand across additional proof-of-stake networks and develop on-chain vaults and post-quantum client capabilities through 2026.

Institutional Backing and Future Expansion

Bitmine's institutional backers include Ark Invest, Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, DCG, Kraken, and Bill Miller III. The company has stated explicit plans to onboard additional PoS chains and build broader blockchain infrastructure services. Bitmine started as a U.S.-based Bitcoin miner and pivoted to ether accumulation as its core corporate strategy; MAVAN now operationalizes that strategy into a recurring-revenue business while participating in network security.
