Tonkeeper, a self-custodial wallet from the TON ecosystem, has rebranded as Keeper and broadened its product from a single-chain TON wallet into a multichain wallet supporting seven blockchain networks. In a statement shared exclusively with The Block, the company said Keeper now supports TON, Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum and Base. Tonkeeper describes itself as the largest self-custodial wallet in the TON ecosystem, with more than 77 million registered users.
The rebrand comes after a management change. The Open Platform took over operational leadership of the wallet last month, while co-founders Oleg Andreev and Oleg Illarionov remain shareholders. Andrew Rogozov, founder and CEO of The Open Platform, said Keeper represents the team’s next chapter, with an aim to bring its simple wallet experience beyond TON and make it a default self-custodial wallet for a multichain crypto economy. The company also said Keeper includes Battery, a gasless transaction infrastructure that lets users pay network fees without holding each chain’s native gas token, and it plans to extend that system to all supported networks over the next year alongside new DeFi, payments, cross-chain swap and perpetual trading features.

Shift from a TON wallet to a multichain product
Tonkeeper describes itself as the largest self-custodial wallet in the TON ecosystem, with more than 77 million registered users. With the new brand, Keeper is widening its focus beyond TON to cover a broader set of crypto networks.
Andrew Rogozov, founder and CEO of The Open Platform, said Keeper marks the next chapter for the team. He said the goal is to take the wallet experience the company is known for on TON into the broader crypto economy and build what it sees as a default self-custodial wallet for a multichain world, allowing users to hold, trade and spend assets freely across chains.
Rebrand follows a management change
The move comes after a change in management. The Open Platform took over operational leadership of the wallet last month, while co-founders Oleg Andreev and Oleg Illarionov remain shareholders.
Battery to be rolled out across all supported networks
Keeper also includes Battery, a gasless transaction infrastructure that allows users to pay network fees without holding the native gas token of each chain.
The Open Platform said it plans to extend Battery to all supported networks over the next year. It also plans to introduce more financial products and features, including native DeFi services, tools for everyday payments, cross-chain swaps, a built-in decentralized application browser, and perpetual futures trading.
