Trade.xyz has launched cross-margin for MAG7 stocks (GOOGL, AMZN, AAPL, META, MSFT, NVDA, TSLA) on Hyperliquid mainnet, allowing shared collateral across positions. Unified Account or Portfolio Margin modes are required for cross-platform benefits.

Trade.xyz, a perpetual DEX built on the Hyperliquid chain, announced the launch of cross-margin functionality for the MAG7 basket of US tech giants on its mainnet. The assets covered include GOOGL, AMZN, AAPL, META, MSFT, NVDA, and TSLA. Traders holding multiple MAG7 perpetual positions can now share margin across those positions, significantly improving capital efficiency and reducing the risk of forced liquidation due to volatile single-asset moves.

Trade.xyz cautioned that to fully benefit from cross-margin, users should switch to Unified Account or Portfolio Margin modes. Under a standard account, margin sharing is limited to positions within the same DEX and does not extend across platforms. Unified Account holders can support both crypto and US stock perpetual positions with shared collateral, while standard accounts are confined to internal Trade.xyz positions.

The upgrade fills a key gap in Hyperliquid's on-chain US stock derivatives ecosystem. By boosting capital efficiency for MAG7 perps, Trade.xyz may lure traders away from traditional venues, offering a more capital-light alternative for leveraged exposure to top US tech stocks.
