A trader suffered two consecutive FOMO trades within a single day, accumulating losses of approximately $907,000, according to Lookonchain monitoring. Two FOMO Trades Lead to $907K Loss
Lookonchain monitoring, as cited by BlockBeats, shows that on September 5, one trader made two FOMO trades in the same day and ended up down about $907,000 in total.
First came MEME. The trader spent $916,500 to buy 7.28 million MEME at $0.126 apiece, then dumped the position for just $353,000. That locked in a $563,000 loss—a 61.45% drop.
Then SLINK. The trader put in $356,000 to buy 8.93 million SLINK at $0.04 each, and later sold the tokens for roughly $12,000. The hit there was $344,000—a 96.62% collapse.
BlockBeats warned users to stay careful around FOMO trading, saying most meme coins do not have real-world use cases and can swing wildly in price.
