CryptoJets, a private jet and helicopter brokerage, has entered a partnership with payment infrastructure provider Transacta as demand for cryptocurrency payments rises in private aviation. The companies said the deal is aimed at improving payment speed, settlement reliability, and geographic reach for large charter transactions.
CryptoJets serves clients seeking privacy, speed, and flexibility through a global network of more than 5,000 charter operators. As the share of bookings funded with crypto increased, the company said it needed a stronger payment setup to handle high-value transactions more efficiently across different markets.
Expansion targets 180 countries and smoother charter settlement
Through the partnership, CryptoJets is expanding its route network and operational capacity across 180 countries. The company said the arrangement also gives clients a more streamlined way to complete large charter payments. Erik Rand, Head of Operations at CryptoJets, said crypto payments were already part of how many clients preferred to pay, and that the partnership would help the company process payments faster, improve settlement across markets, and scale operations without sacrificing compliance or client experience.
Transacta said its financial rails allow CryptoJets to accept large crypto transactions and settle them in fiat to a bank account within 1 to 2 business days, while meeting legal requirements. The company positions its service around merchants that handle large and complex deals under tailored client demands.
Regulated payment infrastructure with multi-jurisdiction registrations
Founded in 2018 in Estonia, Transacta was previously known as Transcrypt OÜ. The company says it offers regulated payment infrastructure for merchants that want to accept crypto and receive instant fiat settlement. It is licensed by the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit, registered with FinCEN in the United States and FINTRAC in Canada, and operates under FINMA supervision.
Transacta CEO Dmitrijs Maceraliks said the partnership opens a new chapter for both companies, with a focus on improving the speed and overall quality of payment processing for high-value charter transactions. The announcement also reflects a broader shift in luxury travel, where interest in crypto payment options continues to grow as wealth moves toward younger generations.
