World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a DeFi platform backed by the Trump family, has announced a partnership with Re7 Labs, the innovation arm of London-based Re7 Capital, to launch a dedicated vault for its USD1 stablecoin on Binance's BNB Chain. The announcement was made on June 27, with the vault designed to scale USD1's utility within the BNB Chain ecosystem by deploying it on decentralized lending and trading protocols such as Euler and Lista.

Partnership Details and Market Impact

The collaboration leverages Re7 Labs' technical expertise to integrate USD1 into key DeFi protocols. Re7 Capital recently secured up to $10 million from Hong Kong's VMS Group, marking the family office's first major cryptocurrency investment. WLFI has also received significant capital injections: DWF Labs invested $25 million, Tron founder Justin Sun contributed $75 million and joined as an adviser, and UAE-based Aqua 1 Foundation acquired $100 million worth of WLF tokens, becoming its largest individual investor.

A notable real-world application emerged in May 2025, when Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund entity MGX executed a $2 billion investment in Binance using USD1, underscoring the stablecoin's utility in institutional transactions. Social media reactions highlighted the strategic focus of the partnership, emphasizing its potential to expand USD1's ecosystem on BNB Chain. Currently, USD1 has a market valuation of $2.205 billion, with 2.157 billion tokens issued on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and additional issuance on Tron.

The WLFI team stated that the partnership aligns with broader institutional interest in cryptocurrency and aims to drive the adoption of USD1 in DeFi through trusted infrastructure. With the vault now live, users can efficiently utilize USD1 for lending, liquidity mining, and other DeFi activities, further solidifying its position as a multi-chain stablecoin.
