According to the latest on-chain data, former U.S. President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency portfolio has surged past $7.5 million, up from $5 million just ten days ago. The dramatic increase is primarily fueled by the sharp appreciation of his MAGA (TRUMP) token holdings, alongside gains in Ethereum (ETH).
TRUMP Token: The Primary Catalyst
Data reveals that Trump’s wallet contains approximately 579,281 MAGA tokens (TRUMP), now valued at roughly $4.66 million. This represents a gain of over 56% in just ten days, climbing from $2.98 million. The token has skyrocketed 408% against the U.S. dollar over the past 30 days, despite a 3.5% pullback in the last 24 hours.
Notably, these TRUMP tokens were not purchased by Trump himself but were donated to his Ethereum wallet by the community. Speculation is rife whether the former president will choose to cash in on this significant windfall. However, the wallet’s last outgoing transaction occurred two months ago, when 475 ETH were transferred to Coinbase in three separate batches. Coinbase does not list the TRUMP token, meaning any sale would have to be conducted through decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap v2, Raydium, or Orca.
Other Crypto Assets Also Climb
Beyond the TRUMP tokens, Trump holds 950,000 BABYTRUMP tokens, currently valued at approximately $93,000, and a separate version of the TRUMP token (non-MAGA) worth about $18,000. His Ethereum holdings, acquired through NFT sales, have also appreciated: he currently holds 370 WETH ($1.43 million) and 342 ETH ($1.29 million).
In total, Trump’s crypto asset allocation sees TRUMP tokens representing over 62% of the portfolio, Ethereum-related assets about 36%, and other tokens less than 2%. This highly concentrated position has sparked debate about his risk management strategy.
Market Reaction and Community Sentiment
The surge in Trump’s crypto holdings has reignited discussion on social media. Some observers suggest the former president could become one of the most influential individual holders in the cryptocurrency space. Others caution that the limited liquidity of the TRUMP token could lead to significant price volatility if he decided to sell. As of press time, the 24-hour trading volume for the TRUMP token stands at approximately $12 million, with most activity concentrated on Solana and Ethereum-based DEXs.
Trump himself has not publicly commented on his crypto assets recently. However, sources indicate his campaign team is exploring the acceptance of cryptocurrency donations, signaling a potential shift in his stance toward digital assets.
