President Donald Trump’s memecoin holders are once again being offered a chance to compete for dinner access tied to their token rankings.
The official $TRUMP website opened registration on Wednesday for a gala dinner set for Nov. 22 at Trump National Washington, D.C., the president’s members-only golf club. Seats will go to the 185 holders who rank highest on the project’s leaderboard.
The project’s X account announced the event late Wednesday, promoting Trump alongside three guests the site describes as “Legends.” None of those guests have been named. “It will be a night to remember!” the post said.
Leaderboard ranking determines dinner access
Access is based on a time-weighted score, meaning wallets that hold more $TRUMP for longer periods rank higher.
Scoring opened on Sept. 30, and the final snapshot is scheduled for Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. Eastern. Wallets that sell all of their tokens fall off the leaderboard.
The 29 highest-ranked holders will also receive access to a VIP reception with Trump and one of the unnamed “Legends.” Attendees will receive gifts in person, including a Trump fragrance. The top four VIP holders are set to receive an 18K gold Trump watch.
The event page also places limits on that access. “No attendees will be granted a private meet & greet with the President,” it says. It also states: “There will be no private meetings with The President. No gifts will be accepted.”
Democrats point to possible probes
The dinner announcement came days after Reuters reported that Democrats plan to investigate Trump family business dealings if they win the House or Senate in November. Trump-linked crypto firms were listed among the areas of interest.
“We will use our subpoena power, absolutely,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal, the ranking member of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, told Reuters.
White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales said in a statement to Reuters that Democrats “have no agenda to improve the lives of the American people.”
In July, Blumenthal, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee, and three other Senate Democratic ranking members called for hearings on the national security implications of Trump’s crypto holdings.
They cited disclosures showing about $1.4 billion in crypto income during the first year of his second term. Trump has defended that windfall as legal.
The first holder dinner was held in May 2025
The first $TRUMP holder dinner took place at the same club on May 22, 2025, for the 220 highest-ranked holders at the time.
Before that event, Sens. Adam Schiff and Elizabeth Warren asked the Office of Government Ethics to investigate. In a letter, they wrote that Americans “deserve the unwavering assurance that access to the presidency is not being offered for sale to the highest bidder in exchange for the President’s own financial gain.”
Token remains far below its 2025 peak
According to CoinGecko data, the token was trading at about $2.10 on Friday, roughly 97% below its January 2025 peak of $73.43.
