The event marks the first time Trust Wallet Agent Kit serves as the foundational on-chain execution stack in a premier AI agent hackathon. The toolkit enables developers to build fully self-custodial trading agents that handle local signing, autonomous operation, and on-chain transaction settlement without centralized intermediaries.
Track 1: Autonomous Trading Agent ($24,000 Prize)
The Autonomous Trading Agent track offers the largest prize, with five winning teams sharing a $24,000 pool. Participants must leverage Trust Wallet Agent Kit to deliver three core capabilities: local private-key signing, fully autonomous decision-making and execution mode, and direct on-chain interactions. Deployments are required on BNB Chain-native environments such as PancakeSwap and BSC perpetual contracts. Evaluation is based solely on real or simulated PnL, with a hard cap on maximum drawdown as a risk-control measure, ensuring a balance between profitability and risk discipline.
Track 2: Strategy Skills ($6,000 Prize)
The Strategy Skills track targets quantitative strategy builders, with a $6,000 prize awarded to three winning teams. Unlike the first track, no on-chain execution is required. Participants will instead use CoinMarketCap MCP's suite of 12 data categories—including price feeds, technical indicators, on-chain analytics, market sentiment, and live news—to construct and backtest trading strategies. Submissions will be evaluated by a panel against four criteria: technical implementation, originality, real-world applicability, and presentation quality, emphasizing rigorous strategic logic and practical potential.
Partner Awards & Timeline
Alongside the two main tracks, three special partner awards of $2,000 each are available to encourage cross-disciplinary innovation. The Build window runs from June 3 to June 21, giving teams nearly three weeks to develop their agents or strategies. This is followed by a trading window from June 22 to June 28, where autonomous agents can be tested with live or simulated trading. Winners will be announced during the week of July 6. Beyond the cash prizes, all winning teams will receive CoinMarketCap Pro API subscription credits, mentoring from CMC Labs, and access to the BNB Chain Kickstart ecosystem support package, providing resources for further product development and go-to-market efforts.
