TrustLinq, a Swiss-regulated payment platform, has integrated Ripple Payments into its live infrastructure to broaden direct crypto-to-fiat settlement to third-party bank accounts. According to the announcement, the setup extends local payout coverage across more than 170 countries and over 80 currencies, with the company describing the transfers as faster and more cost-efficient.
The company said its model differs from a standard crypto off-ramp. A sender funds a payment from a self-custodial stablecoin wallet, and TrustLinq settles the transaction in fiat as a local bank transfer to the recipient’s bank account. The sender does not need an exchange account or bank account. The recipient does not need a crypto wallet or a TrustLinq account. The payment arrives as a regular local bank transfer.
Ripple infrastructure added to an existing multi-rail stack
TrustLinq CH AG said it is already processing live transactions through Ripple Payments, Ripple’s cross-border payments network. The integration adds Ripple to TrustLinq’s current payment rail stack, which the company said already includes SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, and Faster Payments. The release also lists coverage across more than 170 countries, over 80 currencies, and 60 local banking corridors.
In the announcement, TrustLinq said Ripple’s network gives it broader direct access to local payment corridors and lowers reliance on correspondent banking. Ripple Payments was described as an end-to-end cross-border money movement solution with more than $100 billion in processed volume globally and reach across 60+ markets, supporting settlement in both fiat and stablecoins.
Service supports USDT, USDC and EURC
Lili Metodieva, co-founder of TrustLinq, said the company is focused on making crypto usable for real-world payments such as supplier invoices, rent, and cross-border contractor disbursements, with funds arriving in the recipient’s local currency as a standard bank transfer. She said the Ripple Payments integration strengthens the infrastructure behind that service and expands coverage in corridors important to users.
TrustLinq currently supports USDT on ERC-20 and TRC-20, USDC, and EURC. The service is live and available to both individual and business users, according to the release. The company is headquartered in Steinhausen, Switzerland.
