Turing Quantum founder Jin Xianmin has officially unveiled the TuringQ Gen3 large-scale chip-level scalable photonic quantum computer at a science-industry integration session held during the Pujiang Innovation Forum results conference, according to a report cited by ChainCatcher from Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily. The company described the system as the world’s first rack-mounted, chip-scale scalable photonic quantum computer. The TuringQ Gen3 uses a high-speed programmable thin-film lithium niobate photonic quantum chip and brings together several core modules, including a quantum light source, a programmable photonic quantum processing chip, single-photon detection, and quantum-classical heterogeneous computing. The report said the platform supports expansion to computing resources at the level of 10,000 photons on a single chip and millions of modes, enabling verification of chip-level quantum advantage. The company also plans to explore applications tied to AI, including world models. Separately, the report said Turing Quantum recently completed filing for IPO tutoring registration and is preparing for an A-share initial public offering, with Guotai Haitong serving as its tutoring institution.

ChainCatcher, citing Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, reported that Turing Quantum founder Jin Xianmin officially unveiled the TuringQ Gen3 large-scale chip-level scalable photonic quantum computer at a science-industry integration session during the Pujiang Innovation Forum results conference.

The report described TuringQ Gen3 as the world’s first rack-mounted, chip-scale scalable photonic quantum computer. It is built on a high-speed programmable thin-film lithium niobate photonic quantum chip and integrates core modules including a quantum light source, a programmable photonic quantum processing chip, single-photon detection, and quantum-classical heterogeneous computing.

According to the report, the system supports scaling to computing resources of 10,000-photon level on a single chip and millions of modes. It is intended to verify chip-level quantum advantage and will also be used to explore AI-related directions such as world models.

Separately, the report said Turing Quantum recently completed filing for IPO tutoring registration and plans to pursue an A-share initial public offering. Guotai Haitong is serving as the tutoring institution.
