BlockBeats reported on Sept. 9 that crypto KOL Rune (@RuneCrypto_) flagged a pair of newly created wallets involved in the LAPTOP airdrop claim process after identifying a direct fund transfer between them. According to Rune, wallet 0x8DA...A18d claimed 4,276 LAPTOP tokens at no cost and then sold the holdings for about $400,000. That wallet later sent 0.02 ETH to another newly created wallet, 0xc27...b591. The second wallet also claimed 4,276 LAPTOP for free and sold the tokens immediately. Because the token price had already fallen compared with the earlier sale, the second transaction brought in only about $200,000. Rune described the on-chain activity around LAPTOP as becoming "strange," but did not confirm whether the two wallets were controlled by the same entity.

BlockBeats reported on Sept. 9 that crypto KOL Rune (@RuneCrypto_) said a pair of newly created wallets appeared in the LAPTOP airdrop claim process with a direct transfer of funds between them.

According to Rune, the new wallet 0x8DA...A18d claimed 4,276 LAPTOP tokens for free and then sold them for about $400,000. The wallet later transferred 0.02 ETH to another newly created wallet, 0xc27...b591.

The second new wallet also claimed 4,276 LAPTOP at no cost and sold the tokens right away. Because the token price had fallen compared with the level at which the first wallet sold, that transaction generated only about $200,000.

Rune said LAPTOP-related on-chain activity was becoming "strange," but did not confirm whether the two wallets were controlled by the same entity.
