UBS strategist Phoebe White said the bank has dropped its near-term bullish view on short-dated U.S. Treasuries and lifted its year-end yield targets for both 10-year and 2-year notes. According to the update, UBS raised its target for the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield to 4.8% from 4.35%, while its 2-year target was revised to 4.5% from 3.95%. The report also noted that the 2-year Treasury yield rose 2 basis points to 4.568%, its highest level since July 2024. The move reflects a change in UBS’s short-term rates outlook as reported by ChainCatcher.
